ByDate: Estimated Delivery

Last updated: September 30, 2026

ByDate: Estimated Delivery (“the App”) is a Shopify app operated by ecomfaktory (“we”, “us”). It shows an estimated delivery date to your customers. This policy explains what the App stores when a merchant installs it, and how that information is used.

What we store about your store

What we do not store

The App does not store personal information about your customers: no names, email addresses, postal addresses or payment details. To work out a date, it receives the products or variants in a cart or order, and the shopper's language. That information is used to answer the request and is not kept.

What appears in your store

To show the delivery date in the order confirmation email, the App's script on your storefront saves the delivery date text as an attribute on the cart, which Shopify keeps on the resulting order. This text is a date, not personal data. The App does not read or change your orders.

Cookies and tracking

The App sets no cookies and includes no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

Messages you send us

If you use the Support form in the App or email us, we receive the name, email address and message you enter, and, if you allow it, your store address and plan. We use them only to reply and to improve the App. The form sends an email; the App does not keep a copy.

Who processes data for us

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. It is processed only by:

Keeping and deleting data

When you uninstall the App, your store's settings and access credentials are deleted. We also respond to Shopify's data-request and data-erasure notices; because the App holds no customer data, there is none to return or erase. Short-term server logs, kept by our hosting provider, may contain your shop's domain and product IDs.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you or your store, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to support@ecomfaktory.com. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights set out in data protection law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the App.
